Hello. I’m Aarti and I am the Nursery Manager at Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery & Preschool Ealing. My team and I are dedicated to giving every child the best start in life by caring for and supporting them to play, learn and grow in a positive and stimulating nursery environment. As of June 2025 we have been rated “GOOD” overall by Ofsted.

What Makes Us Special
Our Preschool Environment
Our preschool environment follows the Early Years Foundation Stage to prepare children for their move to school. With a more structured routine, children work in groups and learn to focus for longer periods through monthly topics based on the seven areas of learning: physical development; personal, social and emotional development; communication and language; literacy; mathematics; understanding the world; and expressive arts and design. A particular emphasis is placed on communication and language, physical development, and personal, social and emotional growth to support healthy development and school readiness.
Supporting Independence
Preschool children are encouraged to grow into confident, independent learners. Our nurturing environment helps them develop self-care skills, with toilets and handwashing facilities accessible at all times, and promotes social awareness so they can recognise when peers need support. By fostering independence, confidence, and empathy, we prepare children not just for school, but for positive relationships and life skills that extend beyond the nursery.
Preparing Preschoolers for the Future
Our preschool curriculum is designed around the magic of play, delivered by trained staff passionate about creating memorable learning experiences. Children enjoy a full range of activities that develop fine motor skills, literacy, mathematics, and understanding of the world, helping prepare them for school and beyond. Our “Pocket Town” area, themed around the children’s current interests, sparks curiosity and imagination, while learning extends beyond the classroom into outdoor spaces and real-world experiences, making every day an exciting opportunity to explore and grow.
Caring for Growing Toddlers
We support toddlers as they develop independence while ensuring their comfort and wellbeing. With close, attentive interaction from our caring staff, each day is tailored to meet their needs. This includes regular nappy changes and help becoming toilet confident, essential rest or sleep after meals, and continuous support with little comforts such as wiping noses and cleaning hands. By combining attentive care with opportunities to explore and play, we help toddlers stay happy, healthy, and ready for fun every day.

Healthy Eating

Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery & Preschool Ealing is perfectly located between Ealing and Brentford in the W5 postal sector. The nursery is on Little Ealing Lane, just around the corner from the Mount Carmel Catholic Primary School. We're just a short walk away from Northfields and South Ealing Train Stations, a 5 minute bus ride from Acton and the M4 and North Circular Road are both within a short drive. This makes us well-located for serving families in the town of Ealing.
